One‐pot reactions of a lithiated (1H‐pyrrol‐1‐yl)allene, isothiocyanates, and alkyl 2‐bromoacetates or 2‐bromoacetonitrile were investigated. New classes of N–C‐linked pyrrole/thiophene ensembles bearing highly reactive substituents attached to the thiophene ring were synthesized. This new catalyst‐free strategy is scalable, and has been implemented on a gram scale.
