Spatiotemporally photocontrolled signal transduction: A new photoprotected NONOate, accessible in a small number of steps, was applied for light‐triggered cGMP induction in live primary mouse cells. The compound has excellent properties and opens new possibilities for spatiotemporal control in NO/cGMP studies.
