Determining the sequence of binding: Three different mechanisms of bisubstrate binding to a single enzyme during catalysis are presented. The theoretical calculations of the mean turnover time and randomness parameter as a function of the substrate concentration can distinguish between different types of bisubstrate binding mechanisms.
