Intracellular Transport A method for the delivery of native proteins into the cytosol of live mammalian cells with immediate bioavailability is described by L. Li, S. Q. Yao et al. in their Communication on page 1532. They report novel conjugation chemistries capable of covalent modification of native proteins with cell-penetrating poly(disulfide)s (CPDs). The picture shows a classical Chinese painting, with the boat representing CPDs providing the passengers (proteins) speedy travel to the intended destination (cell).
