A highly enantioselective copper-catalyzed alkylation of quinoline N-oxides with vinylarenes was developed. A wide range of quinoline N-oxides and vinylarenes reacted to afford the corresponding chiral alkylated quinolines in high yield with excellent enantioselectivity.
