Improved 5′‐modification of RNA: Premature termination of RNAs initiated with guanosine analogues has rendered it difficult to introduce 5′‐guanosine modifications into RNAs generated by in vitro transcription with T7 RNA polymerase (T7RNAP). Here, we provide a solution by using a mutant T7RNAP with a decreased propensity for abortive transcription.
