A mild condition to synthesize active anticancer agents based on oleate epoxide derivatives from palm oil was successfully performed. A new perspective on the bioactivity of oleate epoxides has been revealed. Oleate epoxides exhibited potent and selective activity against WiDr, T47D, and HeLa cancer cells. Moreover, the molecular docking results suggest that oleate epoxides inhibit the FASN protein receptor.
