The (chi-rGO) layer and SnO2 nanoparticles are both formed on a bare Sn metal plate, respectively via electrochemical methods to provide more electrochemically active areas to generate formate on the electrode surface. The results show that the Sn/chi-rGO/SnO2 composite electrode is a promising catalyst for electrochemical CO2 conversion in 0.1 M KHCO3 solution with a prolonged stability.“
