Transmission lines are very important in electrical systems. High-frequency electromagnetic fields can couple to overhead lines. Once the wavelength of the high-frequency electromagnetic field is smaller than the height of the transmission line, the classic transmission line theory is no longer applicable. Although the traditional full-wave numerical algorithm can solve this problem, it is not efficient. Moreover, transmission lines often have multiple vertical ends and complex line layouts. In order to solve these problems, this article proposes a theoretical and effective method to solve the coupling of high-frequency electromagnetic fields with partial discontinuity transmission lines with scatterers in the presence of lossy ground. The asymptotic method with high computational efficiency is adopted, and the concept of scatterer is brought into the asymptotic method to consider more complex circuit structures. Numerical examples verify the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method.
