Chain gang: Long-alkyl-chain functional mesoporous poly(ionic liquid)s that feature a pure ionic porous framework with tunable hydrophobicity are used to immobilize heteropolyanions firmly with a high dispersion and density. The amphiphilic catalyst exhibits a high yield (>98 %), remarkable H2O2 efficiency (>98 %), and maximum turnover number up to 2375 in alkene epoxidation with stoichiometric H2O2.
