A novel four-step tandem procedure was developed for efficient synthesis of 3,5-diaroyl-4-arylpyrazoles by simply stirring the mixture of 1,3-diarylpropane-1,3-diketones, TsN3, aqueous MeNH2 and Na2CO3 in DMF at 85 °C for 3 h.
