The Magnetocaloric Effect in the Thin Film of a Prussian Blue Analogue

The magnetocaloric effect (MCE) in the thin film of Ni3.1[Cr(CN)6]2·12H2O deposited on a solid substrate using the “layer-by-layer” technique was investigated. The influence of the shape anisotropy effect was checked by analysis of magnetic properties measured for the sample aligned parallel and perpendicular to the direction of an applied magnetic field.
