Analyze Li−S! The immobilization of sulfur on a preformed conducting polymer is achieved through inverse vulcanization. This process not only enhances the capacities and rate performances of Li−S batteries remarkably but also imparts an excellent discharge–charge cycling stability owing to the chemical confinement of polysulfides and fast electron transport along the conducting polymers.
