Probing cellular activity of inhibitors: Phosphopantetheinylation is an essential post-translational protein modification used in the production of many pharmaceuticals. A chemoproteomics approach to investigate 4′-phosphopantetheine transferase (PPTase) activity enables a precise interpretation of the cellular activities of Sfp-type PPTase inhibitors.
