The back cover picture shows RevAmine biotin tag-modified (apo) cytochrome c (bovine) with two accessible lysine residues on the leftmost loop depicted as “ball and stick”. The upper-left lysine is in neutral pH conditions (green background) and therefore still has the RevAmine tag attached, whereas the lower-left lysine has been exposed to bicarbonate buffer, pH 8 (blue background with ions depicted) and as a consequence has tracelessly regenerated the residue along with free biotin and other by-products. More information can be found in the communication by M. J. Hall, J. Gray et al. (DOI: 10.1002/cbic.201700214).

M. J. Hall,J。 (DOI:10.1002 / cbic.201700214)。
