Xiangdong Xue Tenure-track associate professor
Introduction ： Xiangdong Xue, Tenure-Track Associate Professor, Principal Investigator, and PhD Supervisor. He earned his Ph.D. from the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, under the guidance of Professor Xing-jie Liang. From December 2015 to December 2020, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Washington and the University of California, Davis. His research focuses on targeted nanomedicine formulations and their immunomodulatory effects on tumors or inflammatory diseases. To date, he has published over 70 high-impact SCI papers, which have been cited more than 4,900 times, with an H-index of 34. His work as a corresponding or first author has appeared in prestigious international journals such as Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, ACS Nano, Nano Letters, and Biomaterials. He has filed 2 PCT international patents and 8 Chinese patents. He has received several awards, including the Shanghai High-Level Overseas Talent Program, the Nanoscale Emerging Investigator Award from the Royal Society of Chemistry (2024), the Outstanding Young Scholar Award from the Nanobiology Division of the Biophysical Society of China (2023), and the Wiley Open Science High-Contributor Award. -
Haijing Qu Assistant Professor
Introduction ： Qu Haijing is an Assistant Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She earned her Ph.D. from Northeast Forestry University, during which she participated in a joint training program with the School of Medicine at the University of California, Davis. From June 2021 to December 2024, she conducted postdoctoral training at the School of Pharmacy, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In January 2025, she officially joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University as an Assistant Researcher. Her primary research focus is on the construction of intelligent nanodrug delivery systems and immunomodulatory therapy for diseases. Over the past five years, she has published more than 10 papers as the first or corresponding author in academic journals such as ACS Nano, Biomaterials, Journal of Controlled Release, and Acta Biomaterialia, with an H-index of 11. She has applied for 4 national invention patents related to her work. She serves as a Youth Editorial Board Member for the 2024 session of "Exploration" and the second session of "Nano TransMed." Additionally, she is a reviewer for journals such as "Journal of Nanobiotechnology" and "International Journal of Nanomedicine."
