Xiangdong Xue Tenure-track associate professor Nanotechnology-based immune regulation
Xiangdong Xue, Tenure-Track Associate Professor, Principal Investigator, and PhD Supervisor. He earned his Ph.D. from the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, under the guidance of Professor Xing-jie Liang. From December 2015 to December 2020, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Washington and the University of California, Davis. His research focuses on targeted nanomedicine formulations and their immunomodulatory effects on tumors or inflammatory diseases. To date, he has published over 70 high-impact SCI papers, which have been cited more than 4,900 times, with an H-index of 34. His work as a corresponding or first author has appeared in prestigious international journals such as Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, ACS Nano, Nano Letters, and Biomaterials. He has filed 2 PCT international patents and 8 Chinese patents. He has received several awards, including the Shanghai High-Level Overseas Talent Program, the Nanoscale Emerging Investigator Award from the Royal Society of Chemistry (2024), the Outstanding Young Scholar Award from the Nanobiology Division of the Biophysical Society of China (2023), and the Wiley Open Science High-Contributor Award.
