Sijin Wu Assistant Professor, Adjunct Associate Researcher
Dr. Wu received his Ph.D. from Dalian University of Technology and did postdoctoral research at the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. In 2020, he was employed as an associate researcher at Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In addition, Dr. Wu also has certain experience in industrial research and development. As the R&D director, he led the team to complete several customer projects, and gave theoretical support to the internal R&D pipeline, developing a series of antibody developability prediction algorithms and antibody engineering modification algorithms based on molecular dynamics and CADD methods. Dr. Wu joined Huihu School of Pharmacy, XJTLU in August 2023. His current research interests include: 1. Investigating the mechanisms of protein allosteric regulation and developing allosteric regulators. 2. Designing and development of PROTAC molecules. 3. Studying the mechanisms of protein dynamics and interaction changes under post-translational modifications and somatic mutations in diseases.
Daiyun Huang Assistant Professor
Dr. Huang studied at the Department of Mathematics at the University of Liverpool and the Department of Statistics at the University of Oxford, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees. After focusing on the development of artificial intelligence algorithms in the field of biomedicine, he received his PhD from the University of Liverpool in July 2022. In November 2022, he joined XJTLU Huihu College of Pharmacy as a postdoctoral fellow in the joint training program between XJTLU and Fudan University. At present, Dr. Huang presides over the Jiangsu Science and Technology Project Youth Fund and the National Nature Youth Fund, which are both in the direction of AI-assisted drug design.

AI Therapeutics & Molecular Simulation Laboratory (ATOMs Lab) aims to develop an interdisciplinary research program centered on Molecular Simulation and Computer Aided Drug Design. Closely collaborating with experimental chemists and biologists, our group utilizes a myriad of computational modeling & simulation, and artificial intelligence techniques to understand molecular basis of drug action and to rationally design new drug molecules.
