Wantong Song Professor Biomedical polymers, drug/nuclear acid delivery materials, vaccine carrier and adjuvants
Dr. Song is currently a full professor in Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained his B.S. degree from Nanjing University in 2008, and Ph.D. degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2013 (supervisor: Prof. Xuesi Chen), and started his research career in Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry since then. He had his postdoctoral training by working with Prof. Leaf Huang at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2016 to 2018. Dr. Song's research focuses on developing innovative nanocarriers for controlled and targeted drug delivery, with special interests in developing nanotherapeutics for cancer immunotherapy, vaccines and gene therapy. He has published more than 70 papers in Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Biomaterials et al..
