Yuelong LI Full Professor we FEEL the future
Group leader of the FEEL, Full Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Youth Thousands Talents of Tianjin City, EU Marie Curie Fellow (2014 MC-IIF, 2017 MC-IEF). He received his Ph.D. from the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST, Korea) in Mar. 2012, and then moved to the University of California-San Diego (UCSD, US) for his first postdoc until June 2014 and then the second postdoc in the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC, Spain) as the Marie Curie International Incoming Fellow until Sept. 2016. He also stayed as a visiting scholar at the Clarendon Laboratory of the University of Oxford (2015) and the Cavendish Laboratory of Cambridge University (2018). Since Oct. 2016, he has been an Associate Professor at Nankai University and promoted as full professor on Jan. 2025. His research mainly focuses on novel optoelectronic materials and devices such as perovskite solar cells (rigid and flexible type), perovskite single crystals, tandem solar cells (perovskite/Si, perovskite/perovskite, perovskite/OPV, etc), light trapping (such as photonic crystals, bioinspired structures, textured structures, etc), etc. He published over 80 papers in renowned academic journals such as Energy & Environmental Science, Nature Communications, Nano Letters, Nano Energy, Advanced Functional Materials, and so on. Among them, he has over 50 papers as the first author or corresponding author. He has given several invited or oral talks and was the Session Chairman at the international conference.

Our interests are mainly focusing on optoelectronic materials and devices such as perovskite solar cells (rigid and flexible type), perovskite single crystals, perovskite-based tandem solar cells, light trapping structures and mechanism (such as photonic crystals, Nano/micro-textured, bio-inspired structures), flexible energy electronics, etc.
