研究领域

Our research activities revolve around the use of intermolecular interactions in the molecular design of chemosensors, catalysts and pharmaceutically active compounds. Design, synthesis and determination of properties are the typical elements of all projects. We currently focus on the following challenges: ForCycle Niedrig schmelzende Zucker-Harnstoff Gemische zur Extraktion von Metallen und anderen Wertstoffen Molecular Recognition with functionalized vesicles or surfaces Chemical Photocatalysis Using visible light for (enantio)selective organic transformations Sustainable Chemistry Catalytic conversion of carbohydrates into fine chemicals Medicinal Chemistry Molecular tools for the investigation of ABC transporters and GpcRs Teaching Chemistry to students and to the public If you are interested to join us working on one of the above projects, please contact Prof. König
