个人简介

Karl-Ludwig Giboni教授本科及博士均就读于欧洲知名理工科学府德国亚琛工业大学物理学专业。从事工作后，Karl先后在欧洲和亚洲知名研究机构和国际500强企业担任研究员、高级研究员、高级工程师等职位，主要有：1980年9月至1982年12月在欧洲核研究中心担任访问学者，从事粒子物理方面的工作；1983年1月至1986年12月在美国哈佛大学诺贝尔奖获得者Carlo Rubbia的高能物理实验室担任研究员，从事高能物理工作；1987年1月至1989年12月在美国斯伦贝谢公司从事担任高级研究员，从事粒子物理工作；1990年1月至1991年12月在日本斯伦贝谢公司担任高级工程师，继续从事粒子物理工作；1992年1月至1993年12月在法国斯伦贝谢公司担任项目经理，从事高能物理研究工作；1994年1月至1995年12月在美国普林斯顿大学担任工程学专家，从事射线探测工作；1996年在日本早稻田大学做访问学者；从1997年开始教授在美国哥伦比亚大学物理学实验室担任资深研究员职位，从事粒子物理和暗物质方面的研究工作。2010年被我校聘为物理系讲席教授，从事暗物质探测方面工作。

研究领域

Karl教授的优秀学术背景及随后的工作经历都为其以后从事科研工作积累了非常丰富的研究素材和研究经历，近年来其研究方向主要集中于液氙暗物质探测
