Dr. Liu obtained his B.S. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China in Hefei, Anhui, China and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, USA. He is an Associate Professor at the University of New Orleans.
