研究领域

研究方向为凝聚态物理、计算物理和材料物理,具体有: (1)发展材料物性的量子理论和先进计算方法,研究材料中反常霍尔效应、自旋霍尔效应、轨道霍尔效应、平面霍尔效应、热电效应、磁光效应、磁阻、磁矩以及拓扑等量子新奇物性,特别关注自旋轨道耦合体系的电子结构、贝里相位与量子物性之间的关系;在此基础上开发和设计相应的高性能并行计算软件包。 (2)结合理论设计、计算模拟和实验探索,研究各种新型量子功能材料(如拓扑绝缘体、拓扑半金属、拓扑超导体、二维层状量子材料等)、高能密度材料及其相关物性;通过研究光与物质的相互作用机理,设计出高效光能源量子转换材料,以及具有新奇光电效应的新材料。 (3)与实验紧密结合,瞄准量子功能材料的前沿及应用,设计量子功能材料并探索其新奇物性, 开发新一代元器件(如红外光电器件、新能源器件、传感和测量器件、存储计算器件、通讯器件、自旋电子器件、光电池和光催化器件等)。
