研究领域

Our research program aims to develop and apply new chemical tools and principles to solve biological problems that are difficult to solve, if not impossible, by standard biological techniques. A central theme of our research is to harness the power of organic reactions to study protein dynamics, function, and assembly in living systems. We are currently working in the following three areas: Develop bioorthogonal reactions as a tool to study protein function in various cellular systems; Develop new enabling technologies for translating peptides into cancer therapeutics; Design nano-sized bioreactors for sustainable production of pharmaceuticals.
