Dr. Moorhouse is co-founder of the Palliative and Therapeutic Harmonization Program (PATH), which is a multi award winning program dedicated to helping patients and their caregivers make health care decisions that reflect individual values and quality of life. This geriatrician and associate professor of medicine is an accomplished clinician researcher who joined the Division of Geriatric Medicine in 2007.

Dr. Moorhouse’s research focuses on vascular cognition impairment; end-of-life care; driving and dementia; program evaluation and application; and care planning for older adults. She is the principle investigator for several provincial and national grants including the NCE funded Technology Evaluation in the Elderly (TVN) program, Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation and the University Internal Medicine Research Fund.
