个人简介

I got my MSc degree in crop production ecology from Wageningen University, The Netherlands and PhD from the University of Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. I have been working at the Botany department, University of Dublin, from 2003 to 2013. During this period I have been working/ collaborating on different national and European projects funded by the Irish EPA, department of agriculture, Teagasc and EU, to measure and model greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture and to assess the impact of climate change on a national and European scale. These projects include: Greengrass Europe, CarboEurope, NitroEurope, “Accounting for Greenhouse Gas Sources and Sinks in Major Irish Land-Use: towards the establishment of a Coordinating Centre for FLUX measurements (CCFLUX)”, the “Impact of climate change on Irish Farming” and “Assessing the greenhouse gas budget of Eco-tillage and other mitigation options for arable systems”. Currently, I am working at the University of Aberdeen, School of Biological Sciences.

My research interests include process based biogeochemical modeling, global change impacts on ecosystems, agricultural strategies to mitigate climate change, and agricultural sustainability.
