研究领域

1、 对称性是物理学的基础,几乎一切物理现象和功能特性都由对称性来决定。 我们能够 在元胞尺度精确控制 关联电子 氧化物 ( 铁电、磁电、磁性、超导等 ) 薄膜、异质结、超晶格生长,发展 这些材料体系 对称性人工操控的新方法(非 平衡超晶格 、表 / 界 面化学、梯度应变等), 发现了诸如磁电相变、水溶液“印刷”铁电极化、室温拓扑磁结构及手性磁子传输等一系列新奇的科学现象。因此,对凝聚态物质中对称性的精确操控始终是我们的终极目标。 2、 功欲善其事、必先利其器,人类历史上重要的科学发现往往在极端条件下获得的。 过去十多年来,我们一直致力于 开发极端条件( 4-1500 K , 9 T )扫描探针显微技术, 可以在纳米甚至原子分辨下探测材料的电荷、自旋、轨道及晶格序,最终目标 实现低维 磁电等关联电子材料 畴结构(多铁性、铁电、铁磁、磁电 、 超导 等功能体系)的 高分辨表征与精准 调控。 这些全新量子现象为未来高性能信息器件的制备提供原创的凝聚态物理和功能材料基础。 3、 凝聚态物理是一门面向应用的学科,诸如超导、晶体管、巨磁阻的发现都对人类文明产生巨大影响。 围绕关联电子功能材料中所发现的新奇物理现象,我们努力尝试利用极化、自旋、极化子、磁振子等基态和激发态物理量, 设计和制备 新一代信息技术所需要的功能元器件,为后摩尔逻辑、存储、通讯、传感等应用提供基本的功能单元。与华为公司等信息技术企业合作 探索 超 低功耗、 超高速度、 可高密度集成的新型氧化物量子薄膜材料 与结构 。
