The main focus of my current research relates to evaluation of public health initiatives and analysis of epidemiological studies with a particular focus on childhood obesity. I am also currently researching associations between a range of dietary components, including flavonoids and amino acids, and markers of disease status in twins. My previous research has included work on diabetes including the evaluation of a clinical intervention testing the use of a ‘virtual’ clinic to aid diabetes self-management.
