个人简介

Prof Rutter graduated from Bradford University in 1992 and began working as a community pharmacist for Boots the Chemist. Whilst at Boots he got the opportunity to become a teacher practitioner spending time at both Bradford and Portsmouth Universities. In 1995 he took up a position as a research pharmacist working for Moss Chemists investigating skill mix issues in community pharmacy to maximise patient-pharmacist interactions. This led to Paul gaining his PhD in 2000 and shortly after joining Portsmouth University as senior lecturer. In 2005 he moved to the newly created School of Pharmacy at Wolverhampton to establish pharmacy practice and help secure regulator accreditation. During his time at Wolverhampton he further established his work around pharmacists diagnostic ability but also researched areas ranging from professionalism to medicines information provision. In December 2015 Paul joined UCLan and is actively involved in the research of the School and includes collaborations both in the UK [Keele, Bradford, Portsmouth] and overseas [Melbourne].
