2013.2-华南理工大学材料学院教授，博士生导师，兼任中国硅酸盐学会理事，陶瓷分会副理事长、《佛山陶瓷》编委会主任、《中国陶瓷》编委会副主任、广东省陶瓷协会副会长等。
2006.12- 2013.1 华南理工大学材料学院副院长，无机材料系教授,博士生导师。
2000.5- 2008.10 华南理工大学材料学院无机材料系系主任，教授，博士生导师
