个人简介

1950年毕业于清华大学机械工程系。1953年赴前苏联莫斯科钢铁学院冶金系深造,1957年获博士学位回国,现为上海交通大学材料科学与工程学院教授。曾任国务院学位委员会学科评议组成员、中国铸造学会理事长、国际铸造学会主席。1991年当选为中国科学院院士(学部委员)

研究领域

长期从事凝固理论与凝固技术研究,对铸件凝固过程的传热、传质和动量传输进行了系统研究,建立了强制性凝固组织形成原理的新理论框架。在国际上首次发现并定义了铸锭凝固过程中的第三对流区,据此提出的钢锭头部正偏析理论得到公认。在凝固前沿动力学、液体金属深过冷和三维非晶合金制备等方面取得重要成果
