2000年9月至2003年7月中国科学院昆明植物研究所学习，获理学博士学位，国家杰出青年基金获得者、中国植物学会副理事长李德铢研究员
1996年9月至1999年7月 江西农业大学林学院植物学专业学习，获理学硕士学位，导师为江西树木学家俞志雄教授
1990年9月至1994年7月 四川大学生物系植物学专业学习，获理学学士学位，导师为杜鹃花科专家何明友教授
工作经历
2014年9月至2015年9月 Florida Museum of Natural History, University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, USA, visiting scholar. Advisors:Pamela S. Soltis (美国科学院院士) andDouglas E. Soltis (Distinguished Professor)
2003年9月至2006年12月 中国科学院植物研究所系统与进化植物学国家重点实验室从事博士后研究工作，合作导师为中国科学院“百人计划”、国家杰出青年基金获得者、中国植物学会秘书长葛颂研究员。
1994年7月起在江西农业大学农学院植物教研室工作，1995年助教，2000年讲师，2003年破格副教授，2006年破格教授；
