Zhifeng You PI Tissue Engineering and Regenerative medicine: nerve injury repair, diabetic wound healing
Summary: Dr. Zhifeng You is an Assistant Professor, principal investigator at Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology(Since 06/2025). He majored biomedical engineering in Tsinghua University for his PhD degree. His current research interests are tissue engineering and regenerative medicine including: (1) effects of physical signals on disease process, potential mechanism and related intervention strategies; (2) nerve injury and diabetic wound healing. He received 5 grants at the national and provincial levels. As the first author and corresponding author, he published papers in Nature Materials, Bioactive Materials, Advanced Healthcare Materials, Smart Medicine, and got more than 1000 citations for all his 24 publications. He is also the co-inventor of 3 filed patents.
