Prof. Zhiping Xu, Torch Scholar of Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, Australian ARC Future Fellow, currently is a professor and senior group leader of Shenzhen Bay Laboratory. He received his PhD from National University of Singapore in 2001 respectively. From 2001 to 2003, he conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Chemistry at University of North Texas, USA. From 2003 to 2022, he worked at the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, University of Queensland, Australia, as a Visiting scholar, Australian National Postdoctoral Scholar, Australian National Senior Research Fellow, Australian Future Scholar/Associate Professor, and Senior Research Fellow/Professor, University of Queensland. He published more than 472 papers in top-tier journals such as Nature Plants, Nature Communication, Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy, Advanced Materials, ACS Nano, Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B, and Biomaterials, which have attraced more than 26,500 cites and H-index of 81 (Google Scholar).
