My group seeks to leverage the power of the redox strategies to address problems in the synthetic transformations of biologically active molecules and the asymmetric catalysis based on skeletally-diverse, privileged chiral scaffolds. My research focuses on developing novel reagents and new synthetic methodologies by obtaining insight from the in-depth mechanistic investigation.
