Feng Qian
Introduction ： Dr. Feng Qian currently is a professor and Dean of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Tsinghua University. Dr. Qian received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH, USA) in 2003, and his BS/MS (1998) from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing. Dr. Qian’s current research interests include 1). Novel therapeutics against cancer and eye diseases, 2). Various drug delivery technologies to achieve optimized therapeutics benefits of pharmacologically active molecules. Before joining Tsinghua in August 2012, Dr. Feng Qian held a position of Principal Scientist in Drug Product Science and Technology at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (New Brunswick, NJ, USA) from 2003 to 2012, when he led over 20 clinical formulation development projects and was a member of BMS Drug Delivery Alliance Team to assess external drug delivery technologies. Dr. Qian’s pharmaceutical development efforts also led to marketed drug products both in US and China. Dr. Qian is an author of over 60 peer reviewed papers and an inventor of over 20 patents/patent applications. Dr. Qian also serves as an Associate Editor of Molecular Pharmaceutics, and Editorial Advisory Boards of Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and AAPS PharmSciTech.
