Professor, Doctoral Supervisor Nanobioactive Materials, Tissue Adhesive and Sealing Materials
Zhengwei Mao Professor, Doctoral Supervisor National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholar Chair, Department of Polymer Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University. As principal investigator, Professor Mao has led a number of competitive national and provincial research programs, including the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, the Sino‑Portugal International Cooperation Project under the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Zhejiang Leading Goose Program, and the Zhejiang Provincial Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. He has published over 150 SCI papers in top-tier journals in the field, such as Nature, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Cell Biology, Nature Communications, Science Advances, Advanced Materials, and Biomaterials. His publications have received more than 13,000 citations, with an H‑index of 65. Currently, he serves as an Editor for the journal Acta Biomaterialia, focusing on nanomedical materials.
