Longyang Dian Professor, PhD/MSc advisor State Key Labotoray of Microbial Technology (SKLMT), Shandong University, Qingdao
Prof. Longyang Dian is a Shandong Taishan Scholar Young Expert, a Shandong Overseas Outstanding Young Scholar, and a first-tier Qilu Young Scholar at Shandong University. He serves as a reviewer for international cooperation projects of the National Key R&D Program, a reviewer for the National High-tech Enterprise Biomedicine Group, and a correspondence reviewer for the Outstanding Youth Fund/Key Projects of XX Province. He is also a professional title reviewer and dissertation reviewer for the Higher Education Scientific Research and Development Center of the Ministry of Education. He also serves as a third-party professional title reviewer, conducting professional title reviews for talent recruitment and promotion at Southeast University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Southwest University, and Harbin Institute of Technology. He is a permanent member of the Chinese Society of Microbiology, a senior member of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, and a member of the Chinese Chemical Society. His research interests focus on organic synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and chemical biology. He previously served as a senior researcher at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, a research assistant funded by the European Commission, with co-supervisor: Academician Ilan Marek, and a research assistant at the University of Manchester, UK, with co-supervisor: Academician David Leigh. In terms of teaching reform research, he presided over the 2023 Shandong University Undergraduate Education and Teaching Reform Project, the 2025 Shandong University Graduate Artificial Intelligence General Demonstration Course Key Project, the 2025 AI+ Artificial Intelligence Summer School High-end Academic Lecture, and the 2025 Classroom Teaching Reform Course, and published one paper on college students' experimental teaching reform; in terms of party building theory research, he presided over the 2023 Shandong University Grassroots Party Building Innovation Project and the 2025 Shandong University Grassroots Party Building Research Project.
