Our group focus on organometallic chemistry, which can be viewed as an interdisciplinary between inorganic chemistry and organic chemistry. In addition to the synthesis and structure characterization of novel organometallic compounds, we also study their applications in stoichiometric small molecular activations, as well as catalysis. We are currently interested in metal complexes in unusual low oxidation states (especially negative oxidation states), as well as related N2 and CO activations.
