Professor Huang Chi's research group (Aerospace Advanced Materials Laboratory) was established in June 2004, relying on the School of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences of Wuhan University, and is currently focusing on the exploration and synthesis of aerospace advanced materials and related basic research.
At present, some breakthroughs have been made in epoxy resin and resin-based composite materials, organic silicon-modified materials, and organic-inorganic synthesis of key materials for propellants, forming its own research characteristics. Including Advanced Science, Chemical Engineering Journal, Small, Small Structures, Journal of Power Sources, Journal of Materials Science & Technology, J. Membrane Sci., Inorg. Chem. Front., Electrochim Acta, Separation and Purification Technology Chinese journals, etc. He has published more than 100 research papers, applied for 35 patents, and has 23 authorized patents.
The research team is currently undertaking a number of projects facing major national needs, has sufficient funds and perfect scientific research conditions, and cooperates with other domestic scientific research units. There are currently 20 members in this group, including 2 professors, 1 associate professor, 1 professor-level senior engineer, 5 doctoral students, 5 master students, 5 undergraduates, 9 graduated doctoral students, and masters 15 students. The laboratory has high-temperature tube furnaces, freeze dryers, DMA dynamic thermomechanical analyzers, TG-DSC synchronous thermal analyzers, Fourier transform infrared spectrometers, UV-visible spectrophotometers, rheometers, impact testing machines, universal Complete inorganic material preparation and testing equipment such as testing machines.
The research team currently has 2 doctoral supervisors and 1 master's supervisor, recruiting PhDs, academic masters, and professional masters from Wuhan University.
