Xin Chen Principal Investigator

Xin Chen is a professor and principal investigator at the Songjiang Research Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. His primary research focus is on the role of mechanosensitive ion channels in regulating the mechanical microenvironment of brain tumors. His main research achievements have been published as the first author or co-corresponding author in academic journals such as Neuron 2018 (selected as the Best Paper in Neuron 2018-2019), Neuron 2023 (cover article), J. Neurosci. 2015, and J. Transl. Med. 2023. He has received support from the National Overseas Talent Introduction Program and the Shanghai Youth Leading Talent (Overseas) Program. Currently, he serves as a member of the Neuro-oncology Branch of the Chinese Neuroscience Society, the Lung Cancer Integrated Prevention and Screening Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, and the Neuroimmunology Committee of the Chinese Society of Microcirculation. He is also a guest editor for Frontiers in Immunology and reviewer for international academic journals such as Advanced Science and Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy.
