Synthetic Microbiology & Metabolic Engineering
Dr. Mingfeng Cao is currently a professor at the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Xiamen University, and Honorary Research Fellow of Tan Kah Kee Innovation Laboratory, Fujian, China. He also serves as the directors for Biochemical Insititute and the Key Laboratory for Synthetic Biotechnology of Xiamen City. Dr. Cao has published more than 70 papers, including Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Metabolic Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, and ACS Synthetic Biology, together with about 10 China and US patents. He is also serving as the Editor-in-Chief of Biotechnology Reports, the Associate Editor for journals of Biotechnology for Biofuels and Bioproducts, Microbial Cell Factories, BioDesign Research, Journal of Applied Microbiology, and Frontiers in Microbiology.
