       凝聚体(Coacervate)是一种通过液-液相分离(Liquid-liquid phase separation, LLPS)形成的、富含分子的高浓度凝聚液相(或液滴状凝聚相),它是分散在水中的分子在弱非共价相互作用驱动下发生相分离的产物。凝聚体及其衍生的水凝胶相变行为,在生物系统中扮演着多种关键角色,揭示了跨越亚细胞结构(如无膜细胞器)、细胞外基质构筑、宏观生物界面粘附,乃至于生命起源(原细胞,Protocell)的一种普适性机制。

       体外设计合成液-液相分离诱导的凝聚体有望作为一类新型生物材料用于解决生物医学前沿挑战。课题组致力于发展组成模块化的液-液相分离生物材料(凝聚体) 的通用设计策略;探究凝聚体以及凝聚体-水凝胶相转变应用于细胞/组织仿生、药物递送载体、疾病免疫治疗、组织工程与再生医学等领域的优势及功效机制。在Nat. Chem.Sci. Adv.Nat. Commun.J. Am. Chem. Soc.Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.Adv. Mater.Mater. Today等期刊以通讯作者或第一作者发表论文10余篇,申请/获批国内外专利6项。主持国家自然科学基金优青(海外)项目、国家重点研发计划重点专项课题、国家自然科学基金面上项目等。
