Qian Huang Professor Polymer Research Institute, Sichuan University
Dr. Qian Huang is a professor at the Polymer Research Institute, Sichuan University, and the vice president of the Chinese Society of Rheology. She received her B.E. from Zhejiang University in China, and her M.Sc. and Ph.D. both from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). She was working at DTU as a Postdoc and later a Researcher from 2013 to 2020. She came back to China and joined Sichuan University in 2021. Her research focuses on the extensional rheology of polymer liquids. She has published more than 60 papers in SCI journals, and has been granted two projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. In 2024, she received the Oldroyd Early Career Award from the European Society of Rheology. She is currently on the editorial board of Macromolecules, Journal of Rheology and Rheologica Acta.
