From April 14th to 17th, 2025, the Ph. D student Hui Shen and Professor Huang attended the Annual European Rheology Conference (AERC) at Lyon, France. Hui Shen delivered an oral presentation titled Effect of different side groups on fracture of entangled polymer melts in extensional flow in the session of Polymer Solutions and Melts. Professor Huang participated in the evaluation and selection of poster awards.

Organized by the European Society of Rheology (ESR), the AERC provides a platform for academic and industrial rheologists to discuss cutting-edge developments and future directions. The conference focused on sustainable green materials and green recycling processing methods. Prominent topics included the stress yield material, vitrimers, Side-chain liquid crystal polymers. During the conference, the group members actively engaged with other rheologists to address scientific challenges and emerging projects.
