Jun Zhang Associate Professor Sun Yat-sen University

Jun Zhang completed PhD in 2019 at the Department of Chemistry, Zhejiang University. She has conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Humboldt University in Germany, DESY Germany, and the University of Maryland, USA. In January 2025, she joined Sun Yat-sen University. Her research focuses on the development of novel inorganic nanomaterials and their applications in decontamination, corrosion prevention, and detection. She has published seven first-author papers, including in Science Advances, JACS, Angewandte Chemie, Nature Communications, Nano Today, and Chemical Engineering Journal.
