Announcement: From January 2020 Neurobiology of Disease will become an open access journal. Authors who publish in Neurobiology of Disease will be able make their work immediately, permanently, and freely accessible. Neurobiology of Disease authors will pay an article publishing charge (APC), have a choice of license options, and retain copyright to their published work.
Neurobiology of Disease continues with the same aims and scope, editorial team, submission system and rigorous peer review.
Neurobiology of Disease authors will pay an article publishing charge (APC), have a choice of license options, and retain copyright to their published work. The APC will be requested after peer review and acceptance and will be required for all accepted articles submitted after the 31st of October 2019. The APC for Neurobiology of Disease will be US$ 2,500 (excluding taxes).
Please note: Authors who have submitted papers before the 31st of October 2019 will have their accepted paper published in Neurobiology of Disease at no charge. Authors submitting papers after this date will be requested to pay the APC. Neurobiology of Disease is a major international journal at the interface between basic and clinical neuroscience. The journal provides a forum for the publication of top quality research papers on: molecular and cellular definitions of disease mechanisms, the neural systems and underpinning behavioral disorders, the genetics of inherited neurological and psychiatric diseases, nervous system aging, and findings relevant to the development of new therapies.
