Every paper must clearly define the novelty of the work and provide contemporary references alongside an explanation of the scientific or technological need for the results. Experimental studies should focus on the understanding and exploration of new insights in lubrication phenomena, based on the detailed characterization of lubricants, materials and interfaces, and with relevant evidence of lubrication functionality. Complete and comprehensive information on testing equipment and parameters should be provided. Theoretical studies should report a new understanding of lubrication processes and lubrication performance including well-defined advantages of the models used, as well as their limitations. |
