[1] 新型功能材料设计(Design of novel functional materials based on extensive electronic structural calculations.): 侧重研究材料在极限条件下(如:水/溶剂热、高温/高压等)的结构演化规律,预测特定材料的可控制备路线和方法。目前重点研究分子筛和介孔材料的形成过程的微观机理。 [2] 能源碳基小分子活化转化的基本理论(Theoretical investigation on reaction mechanisms involved in activation and conversion of carbon-based small molecules for energy applications):依托快速发展的理论化学方法,通过大规模并行计算,在原子和分子尺度分析和讨论碳基小分子在催化剂作用下的结构转化规律及其与催化剂电子结构之间的关系。
